What you need to know
Sandia recognizes that taking care of yourself includes your emotional well-being. You have many resources to help you and your family members deal with life stresses – whether it’s a work-related, personal, or family issue.
Your first step should be to call or visit one of our onsite behavioral health clinics, designed to provide you with immediate, confidential assistance and support. And, if you need ongoing support, we can refer you to the right community resources.
You and your family members can also find support through the behavioral health benefits available from your Sandia medical plan.
About the EAP and Behavioral Health Clinic
Sandia’s behavioral health employee assistance program (EAP) can help you if you are facing:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Grief
- Marital issues
- Substance abuse
- Workplace issues
- Management of a troubled employee
To get started, contact your local behavioral health clinic. All calls are treated confidentially.
When you visit the clinic, you’ll connect with a health professional who can help you with:
- Short-term counseling
- Community referrals
- Techniques for stress management and critical incident response
- Education on a variety of behavioral health topics
