<p>To have a new course created in TEDS, the first step is to submit a <a href="https://training.sandia.gov/lif/index.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Learning Input Form (LIF)</a>.</p>

<li>Course codes can never be changed, so it is important that the course code you select for your new course is not version related.</li>

<li>If you desire your course to be owned and managed by HR, you must contact HR Solutions with this request via <a href="https://sandiahr.custhelp.com/app/ask">Ask a Question</a>, request a <a href="https://sandiahr.custhelp.com/app/chat/chat_launch">chat</a> or call us at 505-284-4700. A few reasons why a course could possibly be considered for HR ownership:<!-- wp:list -->

<li>The course is corporate required, i.e. the target audience includes a majority of members of the workforce at Sandia Labs.</li>

<li>The course fits into a group of courses, all others of which are owned and managed by HR.</li>

<!-- wp:list-item -->
<li>You do not have the personnel or bandwidth to efficiently manage the course, but it is required for the target audience.</li>

<li>HR Solutions will take your request to T&D (Training & Development), and a decision will be made at the management level between HR Solutions and T&D whether your course will be accepted as an HR managed course.<!-- wp:list -->

<li>If your request is denied, your course will need to be line-owned, i.e. managed by you and/or your organization.</li>

<li>TODS is the current system that houses some web-based course materials. Historically, this system was OLGA, but as OLGA has been retired, all web-based course material that was in OLGA has been migrated to TODS.
